Kolbenschmidt (KS) makes new piston rings, connecting rod bushings and piston+ring available on the aftermarket for GM, Honda, Hyundai and Kia vehicles.
The piston rings, measuring 1.00mm, are for the 1.0L MPFI 8V and 16V engines of the Celta, Corsa and Corsa Wagon manufactured between 1996 and 2002; the 1.0L C10NE EFI 2002 for the Corsa Sedan manufactured from 1999 to 2001 and Corsa Hatch from 1996 to 2002.
For Honda vehicles, piston rings are for 1.4L 8V Flex and 1.5L 16V Flex engines, used in Fit LXL / LX vehicles from 2004 to 2008, Fit EX / ELX and City ELX / EX manufactured between 2005 and 2006.
At Hyundai, connecting rod bushings fit the D4BH 2.5L 8V engine of HR and H100 vehicles produced from 1995 onwards. For Kia, the bushings are applied to Bongo K 2500 from 2007 onwards.
For the piston+ring line, the launch covers the 2.0L – C20XE and 2.2L 16V engines from the automaker GM in the Astra, Vectra and Zafira models manufactured between 1996 and 1998.
