Initially, TecAlliance will offer the Brazilian market the electronic catalog with 26 brands. “This number should increase in the coming months, we are registering several manufacturers”, reveals Heloísa Monzani, general director of TecAlliance, a company that sells TecDoc.
The TecDoc database is supplied by the auto parts manufacturers themselves and the information is made available to repairers through an annual subscription. Sindirepa Nacional has already signed a partnership with the company to offer the service with special conditions to member companies. “This is an extremely important service for the repairer who can quickly consult the information that helps in the routine of the workshop. Today, technical data is the starting point to start repairing vehicles, as the technology embedded in vehicles has advanced and requires information. Without access to this data in a unified way, the repairman loses productivity.”, highlights Claude Lotrian, director of West Europe and Latin America at TecAlliance.
The fact that the Brazilian market occupies 4th place in the world ranking in the aftermarket sector and 7th as a vehicle producer, adding up to a fleet of over 40 million, including automobiles, light commercial vehicles, trucks and buses, were relevant points. for the company to start operations in the country.
To access TecDoc, repairers acquire licenses to consult the online catalog with data on parts from all partner manufacturers through TecAlliance itself, distributors and through Sindirepa Nacional. The service will initially be available for cars and light commercial vehicles, with forecasts for trucks, buses and motorcycles.
