The model has two propeller options and two transmission options. The higher versions will have the 1.0 TGDI turbo flex engine and direct and indirect fuel injection, which generates 120 hp of power and force (torque) of 17 kgfm combined with a six-speed automatic transmission. The entry options will bring the 80 hp 1.0 engine and six-speed manual transmission.
The new outfit contains elements that create a sense of power and speed. Among the highlights are the front grille, with a cascading effect, and the new headlights, which accompany the creases of the hood side by side.
The hexagonal grille became wider, the tapered headlights with LED daytime running lights and creases in the bumper that highlight the front of the vehicle. In the hatch and in the adventurer, the side is marked by creases and the black C-pillar creates the floating roof effect.
The interior space of the new generation of the HB20 has been improved for better passenger occupancy, increasing the wheelbase by 30 mm. The leg space in the rear seat has grown by 47 mm, which means more comfort for passengers in the second row. The trunk continues with 300 liters in hatch and X configurations, and goes from 450 liters to 475 liters in sedan configuration.
The top-of-the-line version has items such as digital air conditioning, Smart Key face-to-face key, front and rear electric windows with one-touch and anti-crush function, automatic headlights on, cruise control and speed limiter.
Hyundai will sell the HB20 with dual airbags and ABS brakes, items that are already mandatory in all cars. Stability and traction control will be present from the Evolution version. The Diamond configuration adds side airbags, while the top-of-the-line Diamond Plus gets automatic emergency braking, tire pressure monitoring and lane departure alert.
All vehicles are equipped with ISOFIX anchorage with top tether for a baby seat, automatic door unlocking in the event of an accident, three-point retractable seat belts (front and rear) and pre-tensioner (front)), front and rear headrests with height adjustment (for all occupants), programmed deformation structure, side protection bars and collapsible steering column.
